2024 Malaysia Taobao Payment Methods

The following payment options are available when shopping on Taobao:

01. Credit Card/Debit Card

Credit or debit cards such as VISA, Master, JCB. You can pay online with your credit card by activating the online payment function. Taobao will charge a 3% service fee for each transaction.

02. Online Bank Transfer

When using online banking such as Maybank, Public Bank, etc., selecting online banking transfer will automatically redirect to the appropriate bank for online payment. A service fee of 1.5% will be charged for each transaction.

03. Ewallet

Currently available as an ewallet payment option are Boost, TouchNGO, MAE and Merchantrade Money. The ewallet payment option is available after you select Malaysia Internet Banking. A service fee of 1.5% will be charged for each transaction. If you have an activated Lazada Wallet and use the Taobao mobile app to make purchases, you can tie your Taobao account to your Lazada Wallet to make payments. When you pay with your Lazada Wallet, a service fee of 1% will be charged for each transaction.

04. China Internet Banking

If you already have a bank account in China, you can choose the mainland version of Alipay (see below) and fill in your card number to pay. There is no service charge for using this method.

05. Alipay

If you have sufficient balance in your Alipay account, you can pay with it without any service charge. If you would like to recharge your Alipay account, please contact our customer service.

06. Payment on behalf
